Evgeni Malkin pounded home a rebound 1:31 into overtime to lift Penguins to their sixth straight win, a 4-3 triumph over Capitals on Sunday.

After Andrew Ference was ejected for sending Ryan McDonagh crashing into the boards in overtime, Marian Gaborik scored a third-try goal with four seconds left in OT as Rangers beat Bruins 3-2 on Saturday in a matchup of the top two teams in the Eastern Conference.

Kyle Lowry had 16 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds for his second career triple-double, and Kevin Martin scored 31 points to lead Rockets to their seventh straight victory, 107-92 over Timberwolves. Kevin Love had 39 points and 12 rebounds for Timberwolves.

Paul Pierce had season highs with 34 points and 10 assists and tied his season best with eight rebounds to lead Celtics to a 100-94 victory over Wizards.

Roy Hibbert, the Pacers' second-leading scorer, left the court with the broken nose after fouling Kobe Bryant with 6:46 left in the first quarter. But Hibbert persevered and scored eight of his 18 points in the fourth to help them beat Lakers 98-96 on Sunday night. Bryant scored 33 points for Lakers.

Danilo Gallinari outplayed Carmelo Anthony in the first meeting since they were swapped in a blockbuster trade, scoring a career-high 37 points as Nuggets outlasted Knicks 119-114 in double-overtime.

Chris Bosh scored 30 points as Heat remained unbeaten without Wade in the lineup this season, defeating 76ers 113-92 on Saturday night.

Brandon Jennings scored a season-high 36 points, as Bucks beat Knicks 100-86 for their first win in nine road games this season. Carmelo Anthony scored 35 points for Knicks.

LaMarcus Aldridge had a season-high 33 points and a career-best 23 rebounds, as Trail Blazers beat Raptors 94-84 to hand Toronto its seventh consecutive loss.

Alabama romped to another Allstate BCS Championship against top-ranked LSU with a smothering defensive performance on Monday night, a numbing barrage of field goals and even a long-overdue trip to the end zone. Final score: 21-0. Alabama posted the first shutout in the 14-year history of the BCS, relying on Jeremy Shelley's right leg for most of the points -- he made a bowl record-tying five field goals -- and letting its defense do the rest. It was the Tide's second BCS title in three years.
