Game 1-  - CBC, &   NBCSN Fri May 11 -8 PM Putting an emotional second-round victory over playoff nemesis and two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh behind them, the Caps got a power-play goal and assist from Alex Ovechkin in his Eastern Conference finals debut and beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-2 on Friday night.
Game 2-  - CBC, &   NBCSN Sun, May 13- -8 PM Evgeny Kuznetsov and Lars Eller each had a goal and two assists. Alex Ovechkin and Tom Wilson had a goal and an assist apiece for the Caps on Sunday night to pull away to a 6-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning and a 2-0 lead in the East final.
Game 3-  - CBC, &   NBCSN Tue-May 15- -8 PM Victor Hedman scored his first goal of the playoffs and added two assists, andAndrei Vasilevskiy stopped 36 of 38 shots to help the Lightning beat theWashington Capitals 4-2 in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference final Tuesday night and cut their series deficit to 2-1. 
Game 4- CBC, &   NBCSN Thur-May 17- -8 PM  Andrei Vasilevskiy made 36 saves and kept things close until Alex Killorn scored the tiebreaker with about 8 minutes left, lifting Tampa Bay to a 4-2 victory over Washington on Thursday night, evening the series at two games apiece.
Game 5-  - CBC, &   NBC Sat-May 19- -7:15 PM  Cedric Paquette scored in the opening minute and Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 28 shots to help the Lightning hold off the Caps 3-2 in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference final on Saturday night .
Game 6-  - CBC, &   NBCSN Mon-May 21- -8 PM T.J. Oshie had a goal on the power play and into an empty net,  Devante Smith-Pelly scored a back-breaker and Braden Holtby stopped all 24 shots as Capitals made no apologies for taking the body and grinding out a physical 3-0 victory Monday night that tied the playoff series and set up a deciding Game 7.
Game 7-  - CBC, &   NBCSN Wed-May 23- -8 PM Alex Ovechkin scored early and Andre Burakovsky added two second-period goals as the Caps continued to shed a label as postseason underachievers after beating Lightning 4-0 on Wednesday night in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference final, a victory that sent Washington to the Stanley Cup Final for the first time in 20 years.. Braden Holtby stopped 29 shots for his second straight shutout and the Lightning, who led the NHL in goals during the regular season, failed to score in the last 159 minutes, 27 seconds of the series -- a stretch of nearly eight periods.


Vegas-Winnipeg DATE-TIME  
Game 1- CBC, &   NBC Sat, May 12 7 p.m Dustin Byfuglien scored about a minute after the puck dropped and Winnipeg built a three-goal lead early in the first period and went on to beat Vegas 4-2 on Saturday night in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals.
Game 2- CBC, &  NBCSN Mon, May 14-  -8 PM  Jonathan Marchessault scored twice and said the expansion Vegas Golden Knights sent a message, bouncing back with a 3-1 series-evening win over the Winnipeg Jets on Monday night in Game 2 of the Western Conference final.
Game 3- CBC &  NBCSN Wed-May 16- -9 PM For the second straight game,  Jonathan Marchessault scored two goals -- including one just 35 seconds into the game -- to lead Vegas to a 4-2 victory Wednesday night, helping the expansion Golden Knights to a 2-1 series lead.
Game 4- CBC &  NBCSN Fri May 18 -8 PM Reilly Smith scored on a breakaway late in the third period to lead Vegas to a 3-2 victory over the Winnipeg Jets in Game 4 of the Western Conference final Friday night.
Game 5-  CBC &  NBC Sun, May 20- -3 PM Ryan Reaves scored the winning goal, Marc-Andre Fleury made 31 saves and the Golden Knights beat the Winnipeg Jets 2-1 on Sunday to wrap up the Western Conference final in five games.
