Bob Davie earned his first career bowl victory when the Lobos, boosted by a pair of short touchdown runs from Richard McQuarley, beat Texas-San Antonio 23-20 Saturday in the New Mexico Bowl.

 Donnel Pumphrey finished with 115 yards rushing and a touchdown in San Diego State's 34-10 victory over Houston in the Las Vegas Bowl.

Marcus Cox rushed for 143 yards and a touchdown, Taylor Lamb ran for 126 yards and Michael Rubino kicked the go-ahead 39-yard field goal to lift the Mountaineers to a 31-28 victory over Toledo on Saturday night.

The Texas transfer came around as the Arkansas State season progressed in his lone year with the program.  Kendall Sanders finally put it all together in his final appearance Saturday night, catching five passes for 127 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-13 rout of Central Florida in the AutoNation Cure Bowl.

 Allenzae Staggers set New Orleans Bowl records with 11 catches for 230 yards and also scored a touchdown to help Southern Mississippi beat Louisiana-Lafayette 28-21 on Saturday night.

Dane Evans passed for 304 yards and five touchdowns in his final college game, three of those scoring throws going to Keevan Lucas, and Tulsa rolled past Central Michigan 55-10 on Monday afternoon at Marlins Park.

Senior Anthony Wales gained 329 yards from scrimmage and Western Kentucky earned a bowl victory for the third year in a row by beating Memphis 51-31 Tuesday night in the Boca Raton Bowl.

Jamaal Williams is BYU's career leader with 3,901 yards rushing. He also scored a touchdown in the Cougars' 23-6 Poinsettia Bowl victory against San Diego State in 2012.

Matt Linehan was 21 of 31 for 381 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions ,  earning MVP honors in Idahos' 61-50 victory over Colorado State on Thursday night in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. 

David Washington threw three touchdowns passes, Ray Lawry ran for 133 yards and Old Dominion beat Eastern Michigan 24-20 on Friday in the Bahamas Bowl.

Ryan Higgins threw for 409 yards and four touchdowns, two each to Trent Taylor and Carlos Henderson, and Barnes' 32-yard field goal broke the game's fourth tie as the Bulldogs beat Navy 48-45 in the Armed Forces Bowl on Friday.

Jordan Chunn had three short touchdown runs and the Trojans intercepted four passes and recovered a fumble in a 28-23 victory over Ohio in the Dollar General Bowl on Friday night.

Dru Brown threw for 274 yards and four touchdowns and Hawaii overcame an early deficit to beat Middle Tennessee 52-35 in the Hawaii Bowl.

Nick Fitzgerald rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns in another strong performance by the dual-threat quarterback; however, the heavily favored Bulldogs had to block a field goal in the closing seconds to hold off Miami (Ohio) 17-16 in the St. Petersburg Bowl on Monday.

Patrick Towles threw two touchdown passes and caught a pass for a score in the first half, helping Boston College beat Maryland 36-30 in the Quick Lane Bowl on Monday.

Ryan Finley found Jaylen Samuels for three touchdowns passes in North Carolina State's 41-17 win over Vanderbilt in the Independence Bowl on Monday

Jordan Asberry took a toss and scored Army's sixth rushing touchdown in a 38-31 win over North Texas on Tuesday in a rematch at the Heart of Dallas Bowl.

Wake Forest attached a positive ending to a season marred by scandal, using a strong performance by quarterback John Wolford to beat heavily favored Temple 34-26 on Tuesday in the Military Bowl.

Shannon Brooks caught a tipped pass from Mitch Leidner for a 13-yard, go-ahead touchdown in the third quarter and Minnesota, mired in controversy after 10 players were suspended after a sexual assault investigation, won 17-12 over Washington State on Tuesday night.

KD Cannon had 14 catches for a Cactus Bowl-record 226 yards and two touchdowns, helping the Baylor close out a challenging season with a 31-12 victory over Boise State on Tuesday night.

Reggie Jackson  ran for 224 yards and three touchdowns to power Northwestern to only its third bowl victory, 31-24 over Pittsburgh in the Pinstripe Bowl on Wednesday night.

Brad Kaaya  threw four touchdown passes to help Miami top West Virginia 31-14 in the Russell Athletic Bowl on Wednesday night.

Joe Williams ran for 222 yards and a touchdown, Andy Phillips kicked a 27-yard field goal with 1:24 to play and Utah beat Indiana 26-24 on Wednesday night in the Foster Farms Bowl for its 14th victory in its past 15 bowl games.

Jesse Ertz threw for 195 yards and a touchdown and ran for two more scores in Kansas State's 33-28 victory over Texas A&M. He had 67 yards rushing to give him 1,012 this season.

 Quinton Flowers ran for three touchdowns and threw for two more -- including what proved to be the winner in overtime -- to help  South Florida beat South Carolina 46-39 on Thursday in the Birmingham Bowl .

Jerod Evans threw for 243 yards and two touchdowns and ran for two scores and Virginia Tech pulled off an epic comeback -- the largest in the school's 124-year history -- by erasing a 24-point halftime deficit to beat Arkansas 35-24 on Thursday night in the Belk Bowl.

Mason Rudolph passed for 314 yards and three touchdowns and Washington caught nine passes for 171 yards and a score as Oklahoma State routed  Colorado 38-8 in the Alamo Bowl on Thursday night.

Nick Chubb and Sony Michel combined to rush for 229 yards and two touchdowns Friday as Georgia came from behind in the fourth quarter to beat TCU 31-23 in the Liberty Bowl.

Bryce Love took over for the absent McCaffrey in the backfield, running for 119 yards and catching a 49-yard touchdown pass to help Stanford beat North Carolina 25-23 in the Sun Bowl.

Joshua. Dobbs ran for three touchdowns and 118 yards and threw for 291 yards and another score as Tennessee beat  Nebraska 38-24 on Friday at the Music City

Arion Worthman threw for 207 yards to balance out Air Force's run-heavy offense, Jacobi Owens scored two touchdowns and the Air Force overcame a sluggish start to beat South Alabama 45-21 in Arizona Bowl on Friday.
Deondre Francois' 12-yard touchdown pass to Nyquan Murray with 36 seconds left put Florida State ahead for good, and the Seminoles topped Michigan 33-32 in a frantic, down-to-the-wire Orange Bowl on Friday night. It capped a simply wild final few minutes of a game that Florida State controlled most of the way before needing a rally in the final moments.

 Derrius Guice popped a 12-yard run off left tackle and then the big one came the next play when he burst up the middle, broke a tackle and then was off to the races for a 70-yard touchdown early in the third quarter that all but closed the door on Louisville and sealed Louisiana States  29-9 victory at  Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl.

Dedrick Mills ran for a career-high 169 yards and a touchdown, leading Georgia Tech to a 33-18 victory against Kentucky in the TaxSlayer Bowl on Saturday. It was the seventh-most rushing yards in bowl history, earning Mills the Most Valuable Player trophy and making some forget about his two suspensions this season.

Going old school on playoff newcomer Washington, top-ranked Alabama relied on a stifling defense and the bruising runs of Bo Scarbrough to wear down the Huskies for a 24-7 victory on Saturday in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl semifinal game.

Deshaun Watson ran for two touchdowns and threw another and Clemson crushed Ohio State 31-0 on Saturday night in the Fiesta Bowl.

Chauncey Gardner, Jr., returned one of his two fourth-quarter interceptions 58 yards for a touchdown, and graduate transfer Austin Appleby threw for 222 yards and two TDs to pace Florida's 30-3 rout of Iowa in the Outback Bowl on Monday..

Troy Fumagalli had a nifty one-handed grab on third down with his left hand -- the one missing an index finger since right after his birth -- to extend Wisconsin' opening touchdown drive. There was another leaping two-handed catch in the first half of a 24-16 Cotton Bowl victory on Monday that denied Western Michigan a perfect season.

Matt Boermeester hit a 46-yard field goal as time expired , and USC rallied from a 14-point deficit in the fourth quarter for a 52-49 victory over Penn State on Monday night in the Rose Bowl.

Baker Mayfield passed for 296 yards and two touchdowns in Oklahoma's 35-19 triumph over Auburn in the Sugar Bowl on Monday night.

Deshaun Watson and Clemson dethroned the defending champs and became the first team to beat Nick Saban's Alabama dynasty in a national title game, taking down the Crimson Tide 35-31 on Monday night in the College Football Playoff in Tampa.
